Awkwafina
Awkwafina is an American actor and performer who started her career through smart raps that addressed gender and ethnic identities from a the most comical of perspectives. She then expanded into Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical path as a trumpeter. She was born in Forest Hills Queens, she was the daughter of Chinese immigrants and Korean immigrants. Jazz, classical and hip-hop studies began when she was a teenager. While at school, she majored in journalism and women's studies in college even taking classes in Mandarin in Beijing during a brief time. Following graduation, she decided to pursue music as her main focus. The song My Vag which was her reaction to Mickey Avalon's My Dick, became a huge hit via the Internet and later appeared on her first LP Yellow Ranger. The album featured other viral hits like the body-positive Queef and the winking tour of her hometown NYC Bitche$1. The song was specifically linked to Awkwafinas NYC, her travel guide for 2015. Her resume contained both an the musician and author. The singer was seeking for a new career path in acting. In addition to early television programs like Girl Code and Tawk, she's been featured in movies including Neighbors2Storks and Bad Rap. The actress made headlines in the year 2018 when she appeared in a number of notable films like Dude Ocean's Eight and Crazy Rich Asians. In June she dropped her new EP "In Fina We Trust".
